Tricia’s Story

Tricia was born and raised in the small town of DuBois, Pennsylvania, as the youngest of six. With a lifelong love for travel, she decided to spread her wings and move to sunny Florida for college. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue a career in medicine and become a doctor, but the journey was not without its challenges.

Tricia’s parents, Albert and Luanne, were her greatest inspirations. Losing her dad at 16 and her mom at 28 were the most difficult moments of her life, but those experiences gave her a profound perspective on the preciousness of life. Writing became a source of healing for her, and she now writes full-time, sharing stories with the hope of bringing comfort and inspiration to others. Best of all, this path allows her to spend more time with the one who means everything to her.

Lorenz’s Story

Lorenz was born in Miami and spent his childhood in Haiti, where he and his brothers embraced the island’s unique charm and made the most of every moment. His parents, Aldine and Roger, always encouraged them to enjoy all that life had to offer. After the 2010 earthquake, Lorenz moved to Florida at the age of 15, determined to pursue a brighter future.

He continued his education at Saint Leo University, drawn by the opportunity to study outside the city and gain independence. Today, Lorenz works in corporate for the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in Tampa Bay, a role that allows him to grow professionally, contribute to his community, and enjoy a fulfilling work-life balance with the love of his life.

Our Story

Tricia and Lorenz first met at Saint Leo University in chemistry class (and let’s just say, there was A LOT of chemistry—pun intended!). From the very beginning, their connection was undeniable, and it didn’t take long for everyone around them to see the love they shared.

After graduation, life took them in different directions, but they made a promise to each other: one day, they would find their way back to one another.

Five years later, that promise became a reality. When they reconnected, it felt as though no time had passed, and everything fell perfectly into place. Tricia moved to Florida, and during an unforgettable trip to Santorini, Lorenz got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. Now, they are thrilled to say “I do” in front of their loved ones and can’t wait to begin this next chapter together!
